I was riding my motorcycle one late afternoon in the suburbs. I was having a grand time, the wind was blowing freely on my face and  the land beneath me smelled of autumn breeze. I was quite nostalgic for a few minutes and I didn’t realize that there were small holes in the ground where I was heading . And it was too late for me to retreat, I hit the ditch and the next thing I remember was I was in mid air and I’m not on my bike. I woke up in a hospital bed. And the doctor told me that I had an accident, good thing a man was driving on the opposite direction and saw me stumble in the dirt. He rushed me to the hospital and paid the hospital fees.

When I was released from the hospital I got the information of who brought me there. I was directed to a typical house with a luscious garden in front. The man who helped me was too generous and was kind hearted that he refused to accept the payment for the hospital bills. Not even a cent, so in return I just gave him my precious Harley Davidson jackets. I treasure that piece of clothing of mine that giving it away would really cost me but that good man was worth everything.

Next week would be our 5th year anniversary. Though I don’t want to expect anything from my husband, I know that he will be preparing something special for me. Every anniversary that we have tantamount to a very special occasion. On our first anniversary, we had a cruise date in the Carribean and he had given me a fresh water pearl necklace from Hawaii. Last year, we went to a virgin forest and had a mountain hiking expedition, and when we were on top of the mountain, he had given me a diamond bracelet with an eyelet. This year, I know he is up to something again. I sometimes caught him having a negotiation over the phone discreetly. I once told him not to spend too much for a gift but he doesn’t seem to remember it.
The day of our anniversary came. He was not around the whole day. I have given up the though of having a romantic date with him, I assumed he forgot it and might be at work finishing a transaction. Then 7o’clock came, a private charter stopped by the house to fetch me. And I was driven to a vacant lot. Then came a chopper with my husband on it. We had a helicopter date.

And when we were still on board, he gave me an Apples of Gold Jewelry that took my breath away. It was a set of Disney couture apple gold earring, an apple blossom two tone ring, a heart rosary with large cross apple guava and a silver and gold tone rhinestone apple birthstone necklace. They were too expensive I know but his love is priceless. It was a magical night and just when he thought I don’t have anything for him, I presented him with a gold apple jewelry ring.
