My father is eighty years old and had lived his prime life but now he is experiencing an Alzheimer’s desease and as much as I would like to take care of him myself my busy work schedule wouldn’t accommodate his needs. Therefore after much thinking and analyzing, I have decide to send him to a Houston nursing homes. It was a decision made with my father’s condition and safety on my mind. I remember one time I was out for work and he was alone in the house with the house keeper. The housekeeper was busy preparing his bath that she didn’t see him lighted the fireplace and throw his blankets and comforters over the fire.

Fortunately the fire alarm ran off and the fire department was notified immediately, he experienced a slight burn on his arms and back but he was nonetheless unharmed. He has a regenerative brain disease of unknown cause that is the most common form of dementia, that usually starts in late middle age or in old age as a memory loss for recent events spreading to memories for more distant events and progressing over the course of five to ten years to a profound intellectual decline characterized by dementia and personal helplessness as explained to me by his physician. And the Houston nursing homes are the best institution that can care for him.
